On the heels of a milestone football season that saw undefeated Utah and two other conference teams rank among the Bowl Championship Series' top 16, Mountain West officials are pressing for automatic annual entry in the BCS' five-game postseason lineup. Presidents and chancellors of the league's nine schools addressed the issue during a meeting shortly after the Jan. 8 national championship game and, with Mountain West commissioner Craig Thompson, will try to sit down with Atlantic Coast commissioner and current BCS coordinator John Swofford possibly in the coming weeks, Thompson says.

Ok
If they add Boise in the mix i would say yes, but at this point no. Utah and TCU are going to have show a little consistency in their winning against other BCS conferences before we should make this effective. I know beating UA and OU was big for them but show you can do it over a 10 year span and then I’ll listen. Hell they just created the dang conference in 1999.
Now if you want to throw the Big East out and replace them with the MWC…i’d be for that. Hell at this point take out the ACC and Big East…
When you are an Alabama fan you are expected to hate Auburn, I hate Tennessee because I want to.

Yes.
For those children who claimed they’ve been a fan of their favorite team all their life, or even since they were about four or five years old: bullshit. There’s always that certain event or certain player that draws to the sport and draws you to a team. For me, Nomar Garciaparra was that reason. - Nick Coviello: I Try To See Rocco, But All I Think Is Nomar; 1/9/09
