Welcome to the Team Speed Kills 2018 Power Rankings! We’re on to Week 2, and that means a new round of Power Rankings are out!

15 ballots were cast by 15 members of the TSK crew. They are all listed below.

As always, off we go!

14. Arkansas Razorbacks

Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

Robert O’Neill: Losing a game in which you’re favored by two touchdowns? Yeah, that will put you in last place.

Score: 13.5 | Last Week: 11 | Highest Vote: 11 | Lowest Vote: 14

13. Tennessee Volunteers

Robert O’Neill: Hey, Tennessee won! Progress.

Score: 13.2 | Last Week: 14 | Highest Vote: 12 | Lowest Vote: 14

12. Vanderbilt Commodores

Julian Mitchell: The Dores have been playing surprisingly strong and efficient football so far. The game vs. Notre Dame has turned into a must watch.

Score: 12 | Last Week: 13 | Highest Vote: 10 | Lowest Vote: 13

11. Florida Gators

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Robert O’Neill: Sit and think about what you did, Gators.

Score: 11 | Last Week: 9 | Highest Vote: 9 | Lowest Vote: 12

10. South Carolina Gamecocks

Erik Mauro: The Gamecocks weren’t too game vs Georgia. This was the year that they were supposed to take a step forward and knock Georgia off their throne. Well, there’s always next year?

Score: 10.5 | Last Week: 9 | Highest Vote: 9 | Lowest Vote: 13

9. Ole Miss Rebels

Tyler Williams: Their offense is dynamic, but what have they proven on defense? If they can’t get stops, I have a hard time believing they can be a significant force in the conference

Julian Mitchell: Almost certainty the best half team in the country at this point.

Score: 8.8 | Last Week: 6 | Highest Vote: 7 | Lowest Vote: 12

T7. Missouri Tigers

Robert O’Neill: Drew Lock looks as good as advertised so far, but there’s only so much games against UT-Martin and Wyoming can show you.

Score: 8.2 | Last Week: 10 | Highest Vote: 7 | Lowest Vote: 11

T7. Kentucky Wildcats

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Erik Mauro: DOWN GOES FLORIDA! DOWN GOES FLORIDA! After a hilariously long losing streak to Florida, 31 years to be exact, the Cats went into Gainsville and had a relatively easy time with the Gators.

Score: 8.2 | Last Week: 12 | Highest Vote: 6 | Lowest Vote: 10

6. LSU Tigers

Robert O’Neill: The Tigers took care of business against SELA, as you’d expect.

Score: 5.6 | Last Week: 4 | Highest Vote: 4 | Lowest Vote: 7

5. Texas A&M Aggies

Erik Mauro: ”Battle of the Bo’s, 2018” did not go the way of Jimbo Fisher. He lost to an old friend, Dabo Swinney and Clemson, in his first chance at a signature win. Death, Taxes, Jimbo losing to Dabo. Some things just don’t change, do they?

Julian Mitchell: Kinda scary under Jimbo. And the way things are going for Kevin Sumlin in Tuscon, it really makes you wonder.

Score: 5.1 | Last Week: 8 | Highest Vote: 4 | Lowest Vote: 6

4. Mississippi State Bulldogs

Scott Sewell-USA TODAY Sports

Tyler Williams: The Bulldogs are built like a team poised for a title run, but until Nick Fitzgerald can accurately throw the ball they will struggle against all their higher competition.

Score: 4.4 | Last Week: 5 | Highest Vote: 4 | Lowest Vote: 5

3. Auburn Tigers

Robert O’Neill: Auburn looked pretty scary against Alabama State, though they fell short of Bill Connelly’s 80-0 projection.

Score: 2.8 | Last Week: 2 | Highest Vote: 2 | Lowest Vote: 3

2. Georgia Bulldogs

Julian Mitchell: Probably the fastest team from top to bottom in the league. Re-opened my eyes vs. USC.

Score: 2.2 | Last Week: 3 | Highest Vote: 2 | Lowest Vote: 3

1. Alabama Crimson Tide (13)

Erik Mauro: Nick Saban has won 5 national titles with not so great quarterback play. Now, they seem to have found an elite quarterback. Good luck, America.

Last Week: 1 | First-Place Votes: 13
