Catalon will be joining his Mansfield Legacy HS teammates Enoch Jackson and Taurean Carter, who signed with Arkansas during the Early Signing Period. He becomes the seventh Lone Star State recruit to join the Hogs, as he stands alongside the aforementioned Jackson and Carter as well as Myles Brooks, Beaux Limmer, Zach Zimos and TQ Jackson.
Morris and Arkansas beat out the Texas Longhorns, Oklahoma Sooners and TCU Horned Frogs for Catalon. This certainly seemed to be in the cards down the stretch, and Arkansas reaps the reward now in getting Catalon to commit.
The Hogs now rank 20th in the nation in the 2019 recruiting cycle with Catalon’s verbal commitment. They also currently rank 8th in the SEC.
