Kerryon Johnson, Carlton Davis and now Jeff Holland. The Auburn Tigers are experiencing a bit of an exodus, as Holland, the Tigers’ edge rusher extraordinaire, declared for the 2018 NFL Draft on Wednesday.

Holland will hope to have the same type of success that Carl Lawson did with the Cincinnati Bengals. Based off his production in 2017, there’s reason to believe that could happen.

The 6-foot-2, 249-pound Holland had 9.5 sacks, 12.5 TFL, 45 tackles and four forced fumbles. Holland also had one fumble recovery and a pass defended. In his career at Auburn, he had 12.5 sacks, 18.0 TFL, 71 total tackles, five forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and the one pass defended.

Holland was named as a Second Team All-American by SB Nation for his efforts this season. He figures to be one of several standouts at edge rusher this season in a pretty loaded class. That class includes Bradley Chubb, Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, Marcus Davenport and potentially Arden Key if he declares. Lorenzo Carter will also be in the mix, as well as Harold Landry, Dorian O’Daniel and Malik Jefferson.
