Darius Garland has officially left the Vanderbilt Commodores. The former five-star point guard announced Tuesday that he will be leaving the program to fully concentrate on preparing for the 2019 NBA Draft. Garland made the announcement on his personal Twitter account.
This isn’t very surprising news at all. Garland injured his knee back in November and was ruled out for the rest of the 2018-19 season. So, the writing was pretty much slapped on the wall in this particular instance.
Tanktahon’s NBA Mock Draft has Garland landing in the Top 10, 7th to be specific. He has been regarded as a probable lottery pick. We wish him the best in his recovery process and, as always, get that money.
