The Minnesota Vikings' linebacker corp was already looking strong but it is perhaps strengthened even more as the Vikes have selected Missouri Tigers linebacker Kentrell Brothers with their fifth round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Brothers goes 160th overall after waiting it out a bit over the course of the draft. He was an All-SEC linebacker at Mizzou and is the latest defensive player to be drafted from the program, and the 18th since 2003. He'll join a loaded linebacker corp headlined by Anthony Barr, Chad Greenway and Eric Kendricks on a dynamic defense that helped push the Vikings back to the playoffs for the first time since 2012 this past season.
Best of luck to Brothers in Minnesota!
