The Georgia Bulldogs have gotten off to a red-hot start. The Dawgs lead the SEC in YPG/a and are second in PPG/a and YPP/a. Offensively, they have been strong in their last two games after a slow start against Clemson. They are hoping to keep the heat up when they take on the Vanderbilt Commodores this week. Vandy has gotten off to a woeful start, and facing Georgia is certainly not what the doctor ordered.

Spread: Georgia -35 | Vanderbilt +35

The Dawgs are 5-touchdown favorites in this game. That’s an insane line, but it’s rather easy to see why. The vast differences between both these teams are valley-wide. Vanderbilt’s anemic offense this year has been plaguing them. They rank dead last in the SEC with 16.7 points per game. Additionally, they also rank dead last in the conference in YPP with 4.5. It’s been an absolute struggle, and that is sure to continue against this fierce Georgia defense.

Vandy’s defense hasn’t fared too much better. They’re giving up 6.3 YPP through the first three games of the year. The Commodores are also allowing 6.1 yards per carry. With a Georgia rushing attack featuring Zamir White, James Cook, and Kendall Milton, that could prove very costly. They’re likely to be in for another rough afternoon in Nashville. The Dawgs should no doubt romp this one, and move on to a big cross-divisional matchup with Arkansas the following week.
