That changes after Saturday, as either the 0-3 Gamecocks or the 0-2 Commodores will walk away victorious. The Gamecocks are 3-3 overall and 2-1 at home, while Vandy is 2-4 overall on the year.

Even with South Carolina’s struggles this year, they’re still far and away better than Vanderbilt. They’re nearly a full YPP better than them, have scored nine more points per game than them, and lead them in most offensive categories. Defensively, it just remains the same.

This is a game where I don’t see any way that Vanderbilt can muscle out a win. I’ve been surprised before, and I could be surprised again. But this should be a wash for South Carolina. I expect the Gamecocks to get their first SEC win of the season. And I’d expect them to have a big day on the ground against Vandy’s dismal rushing defense.
