Alabama-LSU postponed

That, and a litany of other games for the SEC, appear to be off the board this weekend.

NCAA Football: SEC Championship-Alabama vs Georgia Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The Alabama Crimson Tide and LSU Tigers won’t be playing football this weekend.

Due to a COVID-19 outbreak that has affected LSU, the scheduled matchup this weekend has been reportedly postponed. We’re awaiting official confirmation from the SEC, but that seems to just be the inevitable based on the litany of reports out there that htis game has been wiped off the board.

The Auburn Tigers and Mississippi St. Bulldogs will also not be playing football this weekend, and it would appear that those two games might not be the only games that won’t occur. The Kentucky Wildcats and Vanderbilt Commodores’ matchup is in danger of postponement, and the matchup between the Texas A&M Aggies and Tennessee Volunteers might be in danger, as well.

Also, on top of all that, the Missouri Tigers are dealing with COVID issues themselves, according to PowerMizzou.

So um, yeah. That’s all there is, we think. Did we miss something?

We hope for speedy recoveries everywhere for any and all players and team members of any kind who are being affected by these outbreaks.
