A former LSU Tigers standout is on the move.
New York Jets safety Jamal Adams was traded on Saturday to the Seattle Seahawks. The news of the trade involving the former All-American safety for the Tigers was first reported by Jets beat reporter Brian Costello:
The Jets and Seahawks have agreed to a trade to send safety Jamal Adams to Seattle, per source. #nyj

If you have been following Adams’ career, you would know that the former All-SEC safety has had a tumultuous relationship with the team that drafted him. Adams had made it no secret that he wanted out from the organization, and here in late July, the Jets have given him his wish.
Adams will now go to a Seahawks squad that made a playoff appearance last year and is of course led by the dynamic Russell Wilson. The Seahawks figured to be strong contenders in the NFC and the NFL in general as well to win it all (assuming there is actually football this year, maybe, maybe not) but now with the addition of Adams, it only can strengthen their case.
