After Erik McCoy was drafted earlier, the Texas A&M Aggies have yet another player off the board. Jace Sternberger was selected with the 75th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers.

Sternberger’s usage certainly made a lot of waves this past season, proving to be a tremendous threat for Kellen Mond to throw to and utilize. He amassed 832 yards on 48 receptions and scored 10 touchdowns, career highs by a mile, and was an All-American selection for his efforts. Needless to say, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are getting quite the talent in their 3rd round selection.

Jace is the first Texas A&M tight end to be drafted since all the way back in 2008. That year, it was Martellus Bennett who was taken by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round.

Congrats to Jace Sternberger, and best of luck to him with the Pack!
