Arkansas looks to bounce back against Arkansas Pine Bluff

The Razorbacks should be able to get back on track

The Arkansas Razorbacks (4-3, 1-3 SEC) look to snap their three game losing streak Saturday when they host the Arkansas Pine Bluff Golden Lions (1-5, 0-4 SWAC) in Little Rock.

After winning their first four games and climbing up to #8 in the AP Poll, the Arkansas Razorbacks have been struggling for the past few weeks. A loss to Georgia was probably expected, but it felt like Ole Miss and Auburn were beatable, but Arkansas fell short.

Saturday should absolutely be a chance for the Razorbacks to hit the reset button and pick up an easy win against in-state foe Arkansas Pine Bluff, however. The Golden Lions won their first game of the year against Lane and have lost every game since.

UAPB’s issues have largely stemmed from inconsistent quarterback play. Skyler Perry has completed just 46% of his passes and has two touchdowns to four interceptions.

This game will be played at Little Rock’s War Memorial Stadium, a venue the Razorbacks have used plenty in the past but did not get to play at last year due to the pandemic.

Assuming Arkansas takes care of business this week, they will cruise into a very favorable portion of their schedule, as the Razorbacks face Mississippi State, LSU, Alabama, and Missouri in their final four games. Three of those are very winnable.
