Prairie View A&M vs. Texas A&M 2016: Game time, TV schedule, how to watch online and more

Ray Carlin-USA TODAY Sports

Today, Texas A&M plays Prairie View A&M in what should be a tune up game for The Aggies. Although undefeated, PVAMU is relatively untested with the school’s only win coming from a four-point victory over Texas Southern. TAMU on he other hand is also undefeated, with a definitive seven-point win over UCLA. The nature of the two teams undefeated record writes a narrative to this game before it begins.

One thing Prairie View does have going for them is health. The Panthers are going to enter this game as healthy as any team can be, with no key injuries against them. On the other hand, The Aggies are missing a key player at safety with the preseason injury to Justin Dunning who tore his ACL in camp.

Two players to watch are Avery Gennesy and Kevin Sumlin. Gennesy, the big left tackle, didn’t play much of the second have last week, but Sumlin says that he is good to go. Running back Keith Ford was also hurt much of last week, but is probable for this week’s game. If Prairie View A&M can exploit these key injuries they may be able to upset the home team, but everything seems to be stacked against them.

Odds are that this should be a run away for Texas A&M, being the nature of the teams and that the game is being held in College Station But after last weeks games, I would never say never when it comes to college football.
