Auburn Softball advances to the 2016 NCAA Super Regionals

The reigning 2016 SEC Tournament Champions will now head to the Super Regionals.

The Auburn Tigers picked up a run-rule victory over Jacksonville State to the tune of 14-2 to win their regional round. The Tigers exploded for four runs in the first and six runs in the third.

The big blow came on this grand slam by Tiffany Howard:

This is only the second appearance in the Super Regionals, the first coming last year after picking up their first-ever regional round victory. They hope to duplicate their successes from last year when they made and won their Super Regional en route to their first appearance in the Women's College World Series.
