Georgia Bulldogs offensive tackle Andrew Thomas is heading to the Meadowlands. Thomas was selected 4th overall by the New York Giants in the 2020 NFL Draft.
It was expected that the Giants were going to go with a tackle. Tristan Wirfs, Jedrick Wills Jr. and Mekhi Becton were all possibilities, but Thomas is the Giants’ guy regardless. He was quite the standout at UGA, having been named an All-American two years in a row and was a unanimous All-American in 2019. He was an All-SEC selection in both 2018 and 2019 as well.
The Giants get their primary blocker for the franchise in Daniel Jones, and make out well with an accomplished SEC lineman in the process. So, we think they’ll do pretty well with this one. That’s for certain.
