To the surprise of... nobody!

To little to no surprise, Joe Burrow was selected 1st overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. Burrow was taken by the Cincinnati Bengals, so Burrow will be returning back home to the state of Ohio to continue his football career.

Burrow caps off an incredible season from end to end. He of course won the Heisman Trophy and helped lead LSU to their first National Championship since the 2007 season. He put together one of the greatest individual seasons in college football history. And thus, he now caps that off by being taken first overall.

Burrow will figure to assume the starting quarterback position under head coach Zac Taylor once football resumes. Whenever the hell that is. Obviously this pick was expected, so we have no other reaction here other than: Best of freaking luck, Joe!
