After a day of rest, the SEC will go back on the hardwood Friday night. A six-pack of games is on deck. Let’s have a look shall we?

Friday Schedule

Game Time (ET) TV
Game Time (ET) TV
Auburn vs. Davidson 6 p.m. CBS Sports Network
Eastern Kentucky vs. Kentucky 7 p.m. SEC Network
Arkansas State vs. Ole Miss 7 p.m. SEC Network+
Northern Kentucky vs. Mizzou 8 p.m. SEC Network+
Bowling Green vs. LSU 8 p.m. SEC Network+
Sam Houston State vs. Mississippi State 8 p.m. SEC Network+

The most compelling game is the first game of the night. The Auburn Tigers face the Davidson Wildcats at Alumni Hall in Annapolis, Maryland. They’re the first leg of an annual doubleheader at the Naval Academy, capped off by a matchup between the East Carolina Panthers and the Navy Midshipmen, of course.

Anyhow, Auburn, ranked 28th on KenPom, will meet 60th-ranked Davidson in a very solid nonconference game. Davidson has yet to play a game this year, while the Tigers walk into this one 1-0 with a win over the Georgia Southern Eagles already under their belts. Samir Doughty is coming off a 20 & 5 night while Austin Wiley had a not-so-shabby 13 & 9.

An hour later, both the Kentucky Wildcats and Ole Miss Rebels are in action. Ole Miss’ season opener is going down against the Arkansas State Red Wolves, while the Wildcats look to follow up their win over the Michigan State Spartans against the Eastern Kentucky Colonels. Be sure to look out for EKU’s Darius Hicks, who started off with a strong 18 & 12 in a win over the Chattanooga Mocs earlier this week.

Three games will then go down at 8 p.m. ET. The Missouri Tigers look to build off their 40-point win over the Incarnate Word Cardinals when they welcome the Northern Kentucky Norse to CoMO. Elsewhere, the Mississippi State Bulldogs will aim to keep things rolling, as they play the Sam Houston State Bearkats three days off their season opening win over the FIU Golden Panthers. Lastly, the LSU Tigers start their season off against the Bowling Green Falcons down in Baton Rouge.
