Jaycee Horn is staying in the Carolinas!
The South Carolina cornerback will be headed north to Charlotte to play for the Carolina Panthers, after the Panthers took him eighth overall in Thursday’s NFL Draft.
Horn, son of NFL legend Joe Horn, is the first Gamecock taken in the top 10 since Jadeveon Clowney and the first Gamecock cornerback to go in the first round since Stephon Gilmore in 2012.
Horn is also the first defensive player selected in the 2021 NFL Draft.
