K’Lavon Chaisson is heading to Duval County. The outstanding LSU Tigers pass rusher was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2020 NFL Draft’s first round on Thursday night. Chaisson was the second LSU player taken at the time behind Joe Burrow of course, and was one of five players from the team to be taken in the first round.

Chaisson turned it on as the 2019 season progressed. He would finish with 6.5 sacks and 13.5 TFL to go with his 60 total tackles. Those were all career highs off the board, and he will head right into the NFL riding high.

Chaisson joins a pretty solid defensive group, and will be creating havoc on the edge along with last year’s first round selection, Josh Allen, another SEC linebacker, who came from the Kentucky Wildcats of course. Additionally, he’ll join Florida Gators defensive back CJ Henderson, who was selected in the first round as well.
