2020 NFL Draft: Auburn defensive tackle Derrick Brown selected by Carolina Panthers

The first Auburn player is off the board.

Auburn defensive tackle Derrick Brown is heading to Carolina. Brown was selected 7th overall by the Carolina Panthers in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Brown enjoyed great success with the Tigers, nabbing the 2019 SEC Defensive Player of the Year award after recording 12 tackles for loss and four sacks as an anchor on the Auburn defense.

Carolina is retooling a bit this season, but Brown is a great start for them.
