Coming off a huge offensive performance last week in their 55-34 win over Colorado State, Arkansas looks to keep it rolling Saturday. Nick Starkel threw for a season-high 305 yards in the win as he played, hands down, his best game at Arkansas thus far.
Rakeem Boyd also had a big day for the Razorbacks, rushing for a career-high 122 yards. Boyd figures to factor into Arkansas’ plans yet again this week, as his 55 carries this season places him fourth among SEC running backs.
Defensively, the Razorbacks have seven takeaways this year, which is ninth best in the nation. San Jose State has taken excellent care of the ball this year, though, with just two turnovers in their first two games.
The Spartans have lost 14 straight road games dating back to 2016. Arkansas will likely pull out a victory and enter the meat of their schedule at 2-1.
