Fresh off of a 31-17 defeat of the Arkansas Razorbacks, the Ole Miss Rebels are searching for their second win of the season. To reel off two wins in a row, they will need to dispatch the Southeastern Louisiana Lions in Oxford.

Thus far, the Lions are 1-0 on the season. Their game against Bethune-Cookman last week was cancelled, but they were able to defeat Jacksonville State 35-14 in their first game of the season. The two quarterbacks who saw action in that game are somewhat familiar names. Chason Virgil was, at one time, on the roster for the Fresno State Bulldogs. The other quarterback is Cole Kelley, who used to be on the aforementioned Arkansas Razorbacks.

The Rebels will be hoping to give their offense a jolt. They rank at the bottom in the SEC through the first two weeks in total yards and yards/game. They have the lowest output in terms of passing yards and the sixth-lowest output in terms of rushing yards. Additionally, they have the third-lowest points total. So things really are not going right for the Rebels on the offensive side of the ball. For their sake, their numbers see an increase in this game, or it could be time to really be worrisome right now.

This game represents a very likely opportunity for Ole Miss to piece things together and build off their two-touchdown win over Arkansas a week ago. Assuming all goes well, the Rebels will be 2-1 as they prepare for the California Golden Bears to come to town next weekend.
