After getting off to a 2-0 start, the Auburn Tigers will face off against the Kent State Golden Flashes at Jordan-Hare Stadium. This will be Auburn’s final game before getting into the meat of their conference schedule in Week 4.
This will be more good work for true freshman quarterback, Bo Nix, who already has two wins under his belt. After struggling for much of the game against the Oregon Ducks in Week 1, he bounced back and had a better game in Week 2 against the Tulane Green Wave. Nix threw for 207 yards and a touchdown, and getting him acclimated more before conference play will be good for Auburn, especially with a tough schedule coming up.
JaTarvious Whitlow will also be getting more work in this game after rushing for 98 yards and a touchdown last week.
