Two weeks after their win over the Miami (FL) Hurricanes, the Florida Gators will dive into The Swamp for the first time this season on Saturday.
The Gators will play host to the UT Martin Skyhawks for this forthcoming Saturday night showdown. Florida is looking to build off of the strengths in their win over the Canes and, hopefully, shore up some of the things that made the game such a challenge for much of the time spent playing in Orlando.
One of the things that we’ll be looking for is the play out of Feleipe Franks . Franks looked shaky against an admittedly good Canes defense in the Gators’ victory, but the Skyhawks shouldn’t present too much of a challenge for him. So we’ll have to see how well he fares. Also something to look out for is how the Gator O-Line plays, as they were given quite a lot of push from the Miami D-Line.
The Gator defense didn’t struggle too much against Miami and they likely won’t against UT-Martin either. Jabari Zuniga and CJ Henderson are leading this group and both should be ones to watch for in this forthcoming contest.
