After finishing 24-8 in the regular season, the Florida Gators are back in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014.
The Gators were officially put in the field of 68 as an at-large team on Selection Sunday, as they are a 4 seed in the East Region.
This marks the 20th time that UF has been in the NCAA Tournament and the 14th time in the 21st century. They will look for their third National Championship in program history this time around with a solid group corralled by SEC Coach of the Year, Mike White.
Florida opens up play against the East Tennessee State Buccaneers of the Southern Conference. The game will be played in Orlando, Florida.
