Ole Miss Rebels receiver D.K. Metcalf made an absolutely bonkers catch on Saturday afternoon.
The Rebels’ battle with the Vanderbilt Commodores over on SEC Network might not be gathering your attention. This catch by Metcalf certainly will, though.
Late in the 2nd quarter, quarterback Shea Patterson threw it up for Metcalf down near the red zone. Metcalf, battling with Commodores cornerback Tre Herndon, decided to use Herndon’s helmet to his advantage.
Sweet fancy Moses. You’ll be seeing this one quite a few times this season and beyond, we think.
