Three SEC basketball teams have made an appearance in each of the nation’s college basketball polls this week.
Despite losses to Tennessee and Kansas, Kentucky still finds itself in the top 10 of each polls. The Wildcats sit at #8 in the AP Poll, down four spots from last week. Their hit in the Coaches’ Poll was lesser, falling from #4 to #6.
After losing to Kentucky last week, South Carolina got back on track with a 2-0 week, defeating Missouri and Auburn. The Gamecocks are up four spots in the AP Poll to #19 and also up four spots in the Coaches’ Poll to #20.
Rounding out the SEC, Florida finds itself up a spot in the AP Poll to #24 after wins over LSU and Oklahoma. The Gators hopped two spots in the Coaches’ Poll, from #25 to #23.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, no other SEC team received votes in either poll.
