LSU started out of the gate poorly, losing their opener to unranked Wisconsin 16-14 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. The Tigers, then ranked No. 5, had high expectations going into the 2016 season but were unable to play up to par against a stingy Badgers defense.

Now the Tigers will look to get back on the right track as they walk into Death Valley for the first time this season. They will welcome Jacksonville State to Baton Rouge in the hopes of getting win No. 1 on the year.
