Landrews is a 2017 prospect and will be the 21st member of the Bulldogs’ class for next fall. Standing at 6’1, 200 pounds, Landrews joins three-star safety Kaleb Oliver and three-star safety Landon Guidry to make a trio of safeties in the crop of talented players that Dan Mullen will be bringing into the fold in Starkville next season that is currently ranked No. 14 nationally and No. 7 in the Southeastern Conference.

For Whom The Cowbell Tolls’ Recruiting Twitter had this to say regarding Landrews and his abilities:
Quick thoughts on @jaquarius987: Pulls trigger nicely on run read, sure tackler. Nice ball skills and closing speed. #STATEFam17

When taking his experience into account and that report from FWtCT into account, it’s easy to get pretty excited about what Landrews can do at the safety position next season for the Bulldogs defense.
