Brown is a three-star safety and ranked just outside the Top 100 at his position and in the Top 200 in the state of Georgia. He is the latest to join the class of 2017 and the first in over a month, with the last coming from fellow three-star safety Jaylin Dickerson of Southern Pines, North Carolina who committed to the Gamecocks back on June 18.
Brown is one of 16 three-star recruits currently in South Carolina’s 2017 class. His addition to the Gamecocks’ class keeps them within the Top 25 in the nation and currently checks in at ninth in conference.
