NFL Draft 2016: Jerald Hawkins selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers spend a pick on an LSU lineman.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

LSU Tigers offensive lineman Jerald Hawkins goes to the Pittsburgh Steelers, as the Steelers use their fourth round, No. 123 overall selection on the Tigers offensive tackle.

Hawkins spent three years with the Tigers and was the only underclassman to declare from the 2015-16 team. The 6-foot-6, 305-pound lineman never missed a game, starting 36 throughout his career in Baton Rouge. Hawkins is the second player from LSU to be drafted this year after Deion Jones was taken by the Atlanta Falcons in Round 2.

Best of luck to Hawkins in the NFL!
