Alex Collins isn't the first Razorback running back to be drafted this year, but after the Seattle Seahawks chose him with the No. 179 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, he becomes the latest.
Many a running back from Arkansas has made an impact in the NFL. Like Knile Davis, Barry Foster, Felix Jones and Darren McFadden, Collins will look to make a seamless jump into the league and succeed at the highest level. He had a great career in Fayetteville that was capped off with a junior season that saw him achieve career highs in rushing yards, yards per attempt, touchdowns, receptions, receiving yards, and yards from scrimmage.
He joins fellow running back Jonathan Williams as well as tight end Hunter Henry as Razorback players to be drafted in 2016.
Best of luck to Alex Collins with his new team!
