Four-star linebacker KJ Britt has committed to Auburn.

The Tigers will get premier 2017 linebacker from their own state as Britt announced his commitment to the university on Monday afternoon. The announcement was revealed via a video by the folks over at Bleacher Report.

As indicated in the video, it was between the Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs for Britt. And in the end, Britt has decided to stay in state to play for Gus Malzahn and give their defense a boost going forward.

Up until today, the thought was that he was going to Auburn. 18 predictions were made via 247Sports’ Crystal Ball, and all 18 were for the Tigers.

Britt is the 15th commit of Auburn’s 2017 class to date and the eighth player from the state of Alabama. He’s the 14th-best player in the state of Alabama, and the 15-th best player at his position per 247Sports’ rankings service.
