Kentucky vs. Missouri 2016 final score: Wildcats take down Tigers in Columbia

The Wildcats take home a win while the Tigers' struggles continue.

Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

The Kentucky Wildcats move to 4-2 in the SEC East with a 35-21 victory today over the Missouri Tigers.

Coming into this game Kentucky knew that they wanted to get the ball on the ground and pound it down field all day, which is exactly what they did.

Benny Snell and Stanley Williams would go on to be absolutely unstoppable, rushing for a combined 374 yards and scoring three touchdowns on the day. This two-headed monster of a running game would free up UK's passing attack, allowing quarterback Stephen Johnson to pass for 208 yards, connecting with Stanley Williams and Jeff Badet for another two touchdowns.

On the other hand, Missouri would go on the score three touch downs of there own, having Drew Lock throw for a total of 220 yards and connecting with Dimetrios Mason to score on two separate occasions. But, the Tigers run game would prove to be ineffective today as Mizzou would only rush for a combined total of 159 yards spread amongst six players, of which being Josh Austga (a defensive lineman) who would rush for 1 yard and score the teams only rushing touchdown.
