The ESPN College GameDay guys made their picks for 2013 on their preseason special this morning. It's not going to shock you who they went with in the SEC:
SEC Champion: Desmond- LSU over South Carolina Corso - Alabama over South Carolina Kirk - Alabama over Georgia
— College GameDay (@CollegeGameDay) August 24, 2013
The Heisman winner was the only person to break ranks with the Alabama death march narrative that has dominated the offseason, but they didn't really go too far away from the preseason consensus. Only one Georgia pick out of the three is mildly surprising, but not by a whole lot.
As for the national championship:
National Champion: Desmond - LSU over Stanford Corso - Stanford over Alabama Kirk - Alabama over Ohio State

Lee Corso is calling for an end to the SEC's reign of terror over college football with Stanford taking home the title. Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard just went with their SEC champs, which has been a safe choice in recent years.
One more, for the Heisman:
Heisman Trophy Winner: Desmond - Marcus Mariota (Oregon) Corso – Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M) Kirk – Teddy Bridgewater (Louisville)

Only Corso is taking Johnny Football to repeat as Heisman winner.
