Report: 12-Year SEC Schedule Coming Friday

CBS's Brett McMurphy is reporting that the SEC is going to announce its future football schedule for the next dozen years this Friday. Larry Templeton, who has headed up the scheduling committee, has already divulged that it will be a 6-1-1 format that preserves designated cross-division rivals. The rotating opponent will change every year according to McMurphy, so every team will play every other team in the conference at least once every six or seven years. It's a concept we took a look at and mocked up back in March.
