2021 Women’s College World Series: Bracket, TV schedule, watch online

The road to Oklahoma City begins on Friday!

The Women’s College World Series is set!

After intense action in the Regionals and Super Regionals round, eight teams remain to vie for the NCAA Softball Championship. Those eight squads will descend upon Oklahoma City, the home of the Women’s College World Series, for what should be a damn good tournament.

Of the eight teams remaining, two of them are from the SEC. The Georgia Bulldogs are in Bracket 1 with the James Madison Dukes, Oklahoma State Cowgirls, and the top-seeded Oklahoma Sooners. Georgia, like JMU, upset an SEC team en route to Bracket 1. While the Dukes took down Mizzou, Georgia stuck it to their rival and defeated Florida. It only took two games for Georgia, meaning they’d swept one of the top seeds in the entire tournament. They’re looking to make a little noise, but they certainly will have their work cut out for them.

Meanwhile, Alabama is in Bracket 2. The Crimson Tide defeated Kentucky in Tuscaloosa to move on to the WCWS. ‘Bama has yet to eat a loss in this tournament, as they were perfect in Regional- and Super Regional-round action. They’ll have to deal with 10-seeded Florida State, 11-seeded Arizona, and 2-seeded UCLA. The Bruins are yet again a force to be reckoned with out west, and a probable matchup between them and the Crimson Tide could bring about plenty of excitement.
