The SEC formally announced its plans for the upcoming 2020 college football season on Thursday.
As expected, the plan is to play a conference-only schedule of 10 games, as per the release from the conference.

The SEC Championship Game has subsequently been moved to December 19 in response to the late start, as its original date was December 5, of course. There will be one open date during the middle of the season for all programs, and one open date for all programs on December 12.
It’s yet to be seen if there will actually be a season, and/or if the season will actually be able to finish out due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. That being said, we will simply have to see how all this plays itself out.
