The LSU Tigers might be absent their quarterback come Saturday.
Head coach Ed Orgeron revealed that Myles Brennan has a lower body injury during a virtual press conference on Monday. Brennan’s status for Saturday’s game against the South Carolina Gamecocks is thus listed as ‘questionable,’ as Orgreon stated that it was a ‘significant’ injury that he was dealing with.

If Brennan is unable to go on Saturday against the Gamecocks, Coach O will have two options at his disposal. Those alternatives are both true freshmen in the form of TJ Finley and Max Johnson.
Johnson, a native of Georgia, was a four-star recruit in high school, while Finley, a native of the state of Louisiana, Ponchatoula to be precise, was a three-star recruit.
Orgeron heaped some praise on both of them during the press conference as well, expressing confidence in them both.
On the two true freshmen backup quarterbacks (Max Johnson and TJ Finley), Orgeron says both have had fantastic weeks. He thinks both have "NFL talent." #LSU

Obviously, this will be something to monitor going forward for LSU. Not only this week, but for the remainder of the season, as well.
