Odds: LSU (-21)

The undefeated LSU Tigers are looking to stay that way and the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs their first L of the year.

Under new offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger, the Tigers offense has been improving and looks slightly renovated. They are utilizing the passing game just as much as the ground game, bringing more versatility to the table. Joe Burrow threw for 249 yards against one of the best SEC’s teams in the Auburn Tigers, completed over 40 percent of his passes and has not thrown an interception this season. The Ohio State transfer has been putting up good numbers and this week will hopefully be the same, if not better for Burrow.

Although the defense has given up an average of 308 total yards, this week they are expected to keep Louisiana Tech below that. The defense has caused at least one turnover in each game, as well, and hope to keep that trend up.

Prediction:

Score: 34-13

LSU should hand Louisiana Tech their first loss of the season and stay undefeated going into next week’s tilt versus Ole Miss.
