Sophomore standout Jerry Jeudy is already making national waves. Jeudy is among the three finalists for the 2018 Biletnikoff Award, awarded annually to the top receiver in the nation.

Jeudy has been an integral piece for the dominant Alabama Crimson Tide offense. This season, he has racked up 1,002 and 10 touchdowns, averaging 19.6 yards per reception. His 1,002 receiving yards rank second in the SEC behind A.J. Brown of the Ole Miss Rebels. His 10 touchdowns, meanwhile, top the conference.

Speaking of Brown, it’s perhaps surprising that he didn’t find himself up for contention for this award. The other two nominees were Andy Isabella of the UMass Minutemen and Tylan Wallace of the Oklahoma State Cowboys. No disrespect to either of the two, but Brown certainly wouldn’t have been the worst choice to get on this list.

If Jeudy wins, he’d join Amari Cooper as the only two Alabama receivers to ever win the Biletnikoff Award.
