The Ole Miss Rebels got a blue-chip player back into the fold on National Signing Day.
5-star running back Jerrion Ealy, who previously had committed to Ole Miss, has recommitted to the Rebels. Ealy made the announcement of his recommitment to Matt Luke and the Rebs earlier Wednesday morning.
The nation's No. 3 RB Jerrion Ealy, ranked No. 29 overall, announces he's going to #OleMiss

Ealy is among the top running backs in the class of 2019. 247Sports Composite has him listed as the third-best at his position, only behind the likes of Alabama Crimson Tide commit Trey Sanders and LSU Tigers commit John Emery Jr. The 5-foot-10, 200-pound native of Flowood is also listed as the third-best player in the state of Mississippi. He checks in behind Georgia Bulldogs commit Nakobe Dean and Mississippi St. Bulldogs commit Charles Cross.
The Jackson Prep star and Under Armour All-American was previously committed to the Rebels but decommitted a few weeks ago. Alabama, Mississippi State and the Clemson Tigers had courted him for official visits, but Ealy decided to reaffirm with the Rebels anyway. This is obviously quite the recruiting win for Matt Luke and his program.
Ole Miss’ 2019 class ranks 11th in the SEC but 24th in the nation.
