One of the best JUCO talents in the country decided to commit to the Georgia Bulldogs. This may shock you, but Kirby Smart and UGA were able to wrangle in a top-tier talent from the JUCO circuit. That being Jermaine Johnson, a four-star defensive end. Johnson announced his commitment on Twitter.

Johnson’s commitment adds to an already ridiculous recruiting class that UGA has. He is the 16th player in the 17-player class that is listed at four stars or higher. That group, of course, has five five-star recruits and, now, 11 four-star recruits with the addition of Johnson.
While at Independence CC in Independence, Kansas, he picked up offers from the Oklahoma State Cowboys, Oklahoma Sooners, Colorado Buffaloes and Oregon Ducks, among others.
There are few better JUCO recruits than Johnson out there in the 2019 circuit. He ranks fourth nationally and is second amongst all WDEs at the moment, standing behind Chester Graves.
With his commitment, Johnson has pushed UGA up to the top spot in the 2019 recruiting cycle. They jumped the Alabama Crimson Tide in the process, and don’t look to be willing and ready to stop yet.
