The Arkansas Razorbacks landed the 15th commit of their 2019 recruiting class on Monday. Treylon Burks, a native of Warren, Arkansas and attendee of Warren HS, announced his commitment to Chad Morris and the Hogs. Burks made the announcement on his Twitter account.

Burks has instantly become the best player in Arkansas’ 2019 recruiting class. His score of 0.9646 on 247Sports has him ranked higher than everyone else in the group. He is the fourth player of four-star caliber in the group, joining Mataio Soli, Shamar Nash and Zach Williams in that quartet.

Treylon Burks is not only one of the best recruits in the state of Arkansas, but the entire country, as well. He currently sits 63rd in the 2019 national rankings per 247Sports Composite. Amongst all wide receivers, he is currently ninth in the nation. It’s a loaded field, headed by Georgia Bulldogs commit Jadon Haselwood. So it’s safe to say he’s in elite company.

In the state of Arkansas, the only player that ranks higher than Burks is tight end Hudson Henry of Little Rock and the Pulaski Academy. Henry is uncommitted at this point in time. With Burks in tow, Chad Morris now has four players in Arkansas’ Top 10. It’s Burks, the aforementioned Williams, alongside Malik Chavis of Rison and Marcus Miller, also of Warren.

Arkansas’ 2019 class sits 22nd in the nation following Burks’ commitment and is seated 10th in the SEC.
