Jibunor is a native of Athens, Georgia and attends Athens Christian School. He ranks 291st overall in the class of 2018, 14th among all athletes and 31st in the Peach State according to 247Sports Composite.
He figures to be an outside linebacker when he arrives to Auburn, but as he’s listed as an athlete, he can play multiple positions. Our pals at College and Magnolia did a fine job explaining what he brings to the table.
Prior to his commitment to Auburn, Jibunor held offers from several Power 5 teams, including ones in the SEC. The Alabama Crimson Tide, Florida Gators, South Carolina Gamecocks and Tennessee Volunteers all offered him, but he chose to head to The Plains instead. He took two unofficial visits recently, one in October and one this month as well.
With Jibunor, Auburn’s class now ranks fourth in the SEC. They currently sit behind the Georgia Bulldogs, Florida Gators and Texas A&M Aggies in 2018. The Tigers also rank 13th overall in the nation as of now.
