LSU Tigers basketball coach Will Wade’s hot streak on the recruiting trail continued on Monday. The head coach for the Tigers pulled in a top recruit in 2019, but the caveat is that he will be reclassifying to join the 2018 class instead. Aundre Hyatt will be playing for the Tigers beginning this fall, as first reported by Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

Hyatt is yet another name who will be joining one of the best recruit classes in the country. The group already includes two five-star players in Nazreon Reid and Emmitt Williams. The class also includes four-star recruits Ja’Vonte Smart and Darius Days, alongside three-stars Marlon Taylor and Danya Kingsby.

Aundre Hyatt is a three-star player currently in the Class of 2019. Hyatt, a native of Charlottesville, Virginia and an attendee of the Miller School in White Plains, New York ranks 154th in the nation and 38th amongst small forwards. He is also 7th among all NY recruits at this juncture, as well.

Prior to his commitment on Monday, Hyatt was heavily recruited by the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. RU was in it till the end, but it’s Will Wade and LSU who pulled off the coup.
