Mizzou is going dancing!
The Missouri Tigers are set to head to the NCAA Tournament’s West Region. The Tigers, a 9 seed, are pit against the 8-seed Oklahoma Sooners. This is the Tigers’ first trip to the dance since 2018 when they lost to the 9-seed Florida State Seminoles in the Round of 64.
OU of course is a familiar foe to Missouri, as the two were once part of the Big 12 Conference. It’s always fun to see when situations arise like this, and this is no different. The Sooners fared well in the Big 12 this year. They went 15-10 and lost to Kansas in the Big 12 Tournament just a few days ago.
The region is headed by the 1-seed Gonzaga Bulldogs, who will likely await the winner of the matchup between the Tigers and Sooners.
No times or locations have been announced for the games yet.
