Let’s take a glance at what lies ahead of us this evening:
Tuesday’s Schedule
(All times Eastern)
Missouri Tigers vs. Georgia Bulldogs — 7 p.m., SEC Network
Florida Gators vs. Arkansas Razorbacks — 7 p.m., ESPN2
Inclement weather affected this week’s schedule, and as a result we’ve got just two games on the docket on Tuesday night. Both will be running simultaneously at the 7 eastern timeslot.
20th-ranked Mizzou, on the heels of eating two losses last week, will look to get back on track. In order to do so, they’ll have to defeat Georgia on the road. The Tigers have lost three of their last five games on the road, absorbing defeats at Mississippi State, Auburn and Ole Miss. They’re favored to win this game against the Dawgs, who come into this game having lost their last two games as well. They gave up a whopping 115 points to Alabama on Saturday, this after omitting 89 points to Tennessee early in the week. Defense has been a struggle lately for the Dawgs, and Mizzou would be wise to try and take advantage of that.
Meanwhile, down in Fayetteville, Arkansas battles Florida. The Razorbacks are 6-1 in their last seven games and have won three in a row entering play against the Gators. UF had been riding a four-game winning streak, but lost to South Carolina back on February 3. This will be their first game since that loss to the Gamecocks, and are unsurprisingly underdogs to the Hogs. Arkansas has defended home court often, going 12-1 at Bud Walton Arena this year and 8-4 ATS per VegasInsider (the game vs. Southern U didn’t have a spread, per VI).
