There are two SEC games going on this evening. Let’s profile them.

Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Southern Jaguars

8 p.m. ET, SEC Network+, WatchESPN

Arkansas is off to a 4-0 start. Eric Musselman’s Razorbacks have posted very solid offensive numbers and have also gotten it done on defense in nearly every aspect. While the opponents haven’t been the toughest, they’ve certainly gotten the job done. They will hope to continue that trend on Wednesday as they host the Southern Jaguars. Southern is 0-2 on the year, having not played since November 27. They lost to North Carolina Central in overtime and then ate a 103-76 loss on the chin to Luka Garza and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Needless to say, Arkansas will likely have a huge advantage in this game and should more than likely roll over Southern to move to 5-0.

Missouri Tigers vs. Liberty Flames

8:15 p.m. ET, SEC Network, WatchESPN

Mizzou is 3-0 on the year and optimism is high in Columbia. Xavier Pinson and the Tigers have defeated Oral Roberts, Oregon and Wichita State en route to their undefeated record, and they’ll have quite the appetizer before a major showdown with Illinois this weekend. The Tigers take on the Liberty Flames at Mizzou Arena on Wednesday night. Liberty has posted a 4-2 record, having already defeated some SEC teams. The Flames overwhelmed the Mississippi State Bulldogs and South Carolina Gamecocks earlier this season down in Melbourne, Florida. So Mizzou will be the third SEC team that they’ve faced this year. And they will no doubt be the best thus far, as the Tigers have proven themselves worthy in the early goings.
