The Florida Gators are once again in the NCAA Tournament.
The Gators are in for the third consecutive year, this time as a 10 seed, and the eighth time since 2010, as they continue to be a staple in March. Florida’s run through the SEC Tournament likely helped them get this bid and get off the bubble, and now they’ll be navigating the waters in the West Region.
And it won’t be easy for Florida to make it through, either. Right away, they’re facing off with one of the best teams in the country in the Nevada Wolf Pack. The Wolf Pack had a great season out in the Mountain West Conference, and although they lost the Mountain West Tournament, they figure to be dangerous again. Florida and Nevada will duke it out in the 7-10 matchup on Thursday in Des Moines.
The winner of this matchup will face either the Montana Grizzlies or, mostly likely, the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday in the Round of 32.
